The "Raspberry Ripple" cultivar of the Geraldton Wax (Chamelaucium) is celebrated for its captivating dark pink blossoms. Native to Western Australia, this medium-sized shrub showers gardens with its vibrant flowers from Makuru to Djilba (winter to early spring). Ideal for gardeners aiming to add a splash of colour, it stands out splendidly in ornamental garden displays.
When planting "Raspberry Ripple" directly in the ground, it's beneficial to enhance sandy soils using a premium soil conditioner. Initially, this shrub appreciates regular watering but, as it matures, it showcases its resilience, requiring supplementary water only during intense heatwaves. To ensure a prolonged flowering season, apply fertiliser in Djilba (early spring) and Djeran (autumn).
